In August 2013, I visited an area in the Rieding valley, where I found some old and empty clefts at a visit before. After some hours with no success, just right before I wanted to leave, I found a small hole in a quartz vein, just as big as a 2-Euro coin. And in that hole I saw a small Rock Crystal growing inside. After some work I was able to open the cleft and started to collect it´s treasure. I found crystals up to 12 cm, mostly single crystals, only a few smaller specimens. As a second mineral small Adularia appeard.
