Rucksackkluft / Weißeck / Muhr / Austria

Beautiful specimen, found in the so called "Rucksackkluft", a huge Fluorite cleft discovered in 2020 on Weißeck mountain. The specimen is formed very 3-dimensional, by intergrown, purple cubes and is typical for this find. As you can see, the color is really dark, so that, as most of Weißeck Fluorites, the specimen needs some backlight (first and third picture) to reveal it´s amazing color.

It was carefully trimmed to make it as translucent as possible.

Lake Rieding  /Zederhaus / Austria

Unique and uncommon specimen, found in the area of Lake Rieding. The specimen shows grey to transparent, intergrown cubes of Fluorite, with a maximumg edge length of about 1 cm. Special on this piece is, that the crystals partly show white phantoms and also some purple spots. 

Weißeck / Muhr / Austria

Good specimen of Fluorite from the world famous Weißeck. The specimen comes from a very dangerous spot on the south slope, near the summit (2711 m) of Weißeck mountain. Cubes with an edge length up to 2,7 cm, showing blue color, grown around a quartz plate. Over all condition is good!

Cool specimen of Fluorite from the famous Weißeck mountain in Austria. The specimen comes from the so called "Rucksackkluft", which was discovered in 2020. Here you see a plate, which entirely consists of Fluorite, showing intergrown cubes on the front. The Fluorite shows a light purple color in daylight, the outer zones are colorless and the core is purple. With backlight the specimen shows it´s beautiful color, as you can see on the second image. In a very good condition!
